The Soul

In the Bible the soul is typified as the Female. The principle of submission comes into play here. Lets take the story of Adam and Eve. If Adam is male and Eve is female, It shows forth the relationship of  headship and submission. In Eves independance from her head Adam she births the ego into us all. We are to be submissive to the Father/Christ as our head. When we run independantly from Him we think we are the Great Ones who has done such wonderful things, we think we run our own life.

Listen to what God told Eve:

Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Later in the new testiment we gather more information:

1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Do you see what I see. I see that the Eve or the female/soul submissive part of us is saved in childbearing. In bringing forth the CHRIST in our souls. How many of us know what a painful and sorrowful time it is – having our Ego -soulish self put to death. Your Ego is your Man/Wo-Man of Sin which is the deciever and must be exposed. Your Ego want to rule independently, demands importance, and lives on recognition,  and must be dethroned and die. The Ego is a wild independant carnal animal nature which is within each of us. When it dies the woman, our soul can and will in her natural God given submissive role reproduce Christ. She will like Mary say – “be it unto me according to your Word.”

But remember you can not kill your own Ego. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. You can submit your Ego to the Holy Spirit for burning on the alter of sacrifice.
