PRAYERS!

Today my friend who is 32 years old, goes in for a double mastectomy. She found out two weeks ago she has breast cancer. …yeah two weeks and here is surgery. Fast huh? I was shocked also. But I am thankful for the swiftness.

I ask that you would Pray today if you see this post:

Father,

Thank you for your gift of life.

Help us not to take it for granted.

Life is so fragile Lord.

The blessing of every moment is a gift.

Cover this one going through surgery today.

Her morning will start early and I am sure her mind will be spinning.

Lord give her peace that you have her in good hands.

Work through the doctors and nurses today God and bless her through them.

This afternoon when she comes out of the surgery room let her eyes open to smiles that love her, to voices of reassurance that everything will be ok.

Let her spirit be strengthen by you as she enters into the evening hours.

and let not her heart be troubled.

Give her peaceful rest and watch her sleep well

Thank you  Father

AMEN!!

Something to think about!

Hope…

Today I just want to say :

PRAY FOR THE FIGHTING!

PRAY FOR THE FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN!

PRAY FOR THE SUPPORT TEAMS!

God gives us friends and families to live alongside in this life.

When one falls the rest are there to pick them up.

Life sometimes becomes a solitary walk.

I think it is meant to be a community journey.

May we pray for each other…

Hold each other up…

Work along side and pick up each others slack.

Perhaps we expect to often for people who

are “well” in health, heart, finance, mind to be too strong.

Perhaps that do it alone attitude is how

we all miss true success.

BUT TOGETHER we have a TEAM!

T -ogether

E– veryone

A – longside

M – akes it

When we do life together …. HOPE HAPPENS!

Eccl. 4:9 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.

Hope for the Hurting

On my heart today is not easy…

Around me there are people hurting…

sad…

worried…

Those kinds of situations where you have no words.

The kind that you wish you could say something

and people would just …Feel better!

So what do you do when you have no words??

When nothing you can do can change a thing??

YOU PRAY!

I have been seeing the word KNEEL for a week.

I saw it. I noticed.

Why do I ever think it is a coincidence?

GOD SPEAKS !! HE TELLS US WHAT IS NEEDED.

I didn’t listen….

until last night

I sat quietly in the middle of the night kneeling beside my

bed….thinking what do I have to pray about….hmmmm?

I ran through the normal

thank you GOD

For this and this…

and that and that…

BUT today I heard NEWS.

Different sources….different circumstances…

Destruction, Sickness, Persecution, Stress, Hurting

Life throws some crazy stuff at us sometimes.

BUT GOD is there to carry us through.

Psalm 68:19

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior!

For each day he carries us in his arms.

And He is speaking.

Lord Help me to listen, to discern, to understand, to move when you speak. To kneel…when you say Kneel!

This song came to mind this morning:
